Ouzo of Plomari Supports the Traditional Boat Association of Greece
To commemorate its collaboration with the Association, Ouzo of Plomari has created a new collectible bottle inspired by these boats. Against a pure white background, the colorfully painted details of kaikia hulls come to life, circling around the bottle’s neck and swooping up from left to right across the bottle’s base. This limited edition bottle honors the cultural importance of the traditional wooden boats.
Ouzo of Plomari respects the Greek cultural tradition that is part of its DNA and, fittingly enough, collaborates with the Traditional Boat Association of Greece in order to honor the cultural traditions of wooden boat building and the exquisite traditional wooden hulls that are central to the nautical culture of Greece.
Cooperation between Ouzo of Plomari and the Traditional Boats Association of Greece was celebrated at the Yacht Club of Greece. During the event, the President of the distillery Mr. Nikos Kalogiannis stated: “Our goal all these years has been to promote the Greek tradition and to make it known all over the world”.
